What do I need to do or think about in preparation for the installation?
Typically there will be nothing for you to do in preparation for our arrival except providing access. If there are any preparations needed an email will be sent to you detailing these.
Do I need to be at home all day?
No, as long as someone is there to let us in in the morning of the installation and you have a spare key – you can leave us to carry on with the work.
How long will it take to install?
Every installation is different but we will specify in our quote an estimated time frame before we start.
Will I have heat and hot water?
If the installation is going to take more than a day, you may be without heat and hot water overnight but this is rare and our installers will aim to minimise this.
What about the gas, electric and cold water?
Your gas, electric and cold water supply can normally be isolated in the areas where we are working. You should be able to use these for most of the time.
Access to working areas
Access will be needed to the utility meters and the mains water stopcock. Where carpets or laminate flooring need to be taken up or furniture moved our engineers will be able to assist.
Will there be any disruption to my home?
We will treat your property with the utmost respect and aim to keep any disruption to a minimum. Prior to commencement of work we will take great care to ensure all areas including carpets and work surfaces are protected as appropriate. Please try to remove furniture, ornaments and other items from the working area around the boiler and radiator positions.

Your new heating system

Will the Installer explain how to use the new system?
Once the installation is completed the installer will explain and demonstrate how to use your new boiler and heating controls. He will also advise what to do if you need any help afterwards. We will explain any noticeable differences in the operation between your old and new system.

Your account

When do I make a payment?
A 50% deposit is required with booking and the balance payable immediately upon satisfactory completion of works.
How do I pay?
We accept most major credit cards (we do not accept American Express or Solo cards), enabling you to make full payment by calling 0207 060 9751. You can also transfer payment directly to our accounts through online or telephone banking using your invoice number as a reference. Our banking details are available on your invoice.
Is there a monthly payment plan available?
A monthly payment plan can be discussed with the Heating Advisor during his visit.

Smarter Heating options

Can I control my heating with my Smart Phone?
Yes it is possible to control your heating remotely with your Smart phone – this can be discussed with the heating advisor during his visit.
